What we are looking for:
The resource will be included in the Business, Contract Management and Supply Chain Process Risk Management team reporting to the Risk Manager. It will be responsible of the coordination with the insurance function providing support in identifying, assessing, monitoring and making recommendations on where insurance or other risk transfer techniques could help in managing and confining the risks the Company shall cope with.
Main Responsibilities /activities:
- In coordination with Insurance Function, support projects in identifying risks & opportunities in transferring risk through insurance coverage or other risk transfer techniques, in line with applicable legislation, regulatory restrictions and best practices;
- Detect, assess and quantify the main relevant risks at enterprise level;
- to seeking of opportunities to minimize risks and improve existing insurance programs, providing recommendation of corrective actions.
Requirement:
- Motivated and open-minded resource, with flexible cross-functional skills, interested in learning. Ability in communication and interface with project teams.
- Previous proven experience in Insurance Risk Management (5-6 years).
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Management, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business/Administration.
- Ability to work independently, a good problem-solving mindset and good interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of the English language both written and spoken.
- Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Sharepoint, Power BI (reporting systems).

Projects’ Portfolio Integrated Risk Management Specialist

Saipem is looking for a Projects’ Portfolio Integrated Risk Management Specialist to be included in the Integrated Risk Management department in our Milan Office.
The resource will be responsible for:
- Development and update of techniques and tools to run projects’ portfolio risk analysis at business line and group level
- In cooperation with projects risk management, reporting about main risks and trending topics emerging at projects’ portfolio level
- Participate and Lead project execution integrated risk assessment during risk assessment meetings at group, business line and subsidiaries levels, ensuring the preparation of preliminary documentation and the consolidation of the outcoming results
- Contribute to prepare the Group’s Risk Assessment report (Identifying, assessing, and monitoring the projects’ portfolio relevant risks and identifying specific treatment actions supporting the Risk Owner to manage the risk and implementing the risk treatment actions).
In addition, the resource will support the IRM team in the following activities, among others:
- Development and distribution of methodologies, models, analysis, assessment and risk aggregation as well as other functional tools for the Integrated Risk Management activities for the areas of responsibility, also through studies on national and international regulations and best practices.
- Improvement of Integrated Risk Management processes and distribution of the relevant updates.
- Contribute to the digitalization process of all Integrated Risk Management activities, from goal model to assessment, monitoring and reporting (using Microsoft Office tools like Power BI and Power APP).
- Prepare corporate presentations, working with an inter-functional approach.
- Prepare analysis for top management, Audit and Risk Committee and Board of Directors.
Requested Skills:
- more than 5 years of professional experience in either Project Management or Industrial Risk Management of an Oil&Gas and/or Infrastructures and/or Energy industry.
- Risk Management Professional Certification will be considered a plus.
- Degree in Engineering or Economics. Master in Risk Management will be considered a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and oral in order to actively take part in critical interviews.
- Outstanding Microsoft Office skills (particularly in Excel and Power BI; the knowledge of Power APP will be considered a plus).
- Strong communication and relational skills.
- Ability to navigate large organizations and build trustworthy relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
